RATING TENDENCIES: When the rater evaluates those employees
either too strictly, too leniently or only in the middle of the scale and
fails to see the differences that always exists between employees.
Lenient rating is probably the most common form of rating error.
A major reason for this error is to avoid conflict; it provides the path of
least resistance.

SAME AS ME EFFECT: When the rater evaluates those employees
he / she perceives as being like herself / himself in a more favorable
manner than those employees she / he perceives as being different.
