impression and rates all factors according to that impression without
considering the employee’s behaviors separately from each other.

LOGIC ERROR: When the rater confuses one performance
dimension with another and then incorrectly rates the dimension
because of this misunderstanding.

HORN EFFECT: Rating a person unsatisfactory in one quality, which
in turn influences the rater to give that person a similar rating or a
lower rating on other qualities.
